Safety and welfare

A safe and positive place to train

Respectful coaching, accountability and the welfare of every student are central to our school.

Our approach to safeguarding

Safeguarding is not just a policy. It is reflected in how we teach, supervise, communicate and respond to concerns.

Qualified, vetted instructors

Our instructors and volunteers have Enhanced DBS clearance. Safeguarding training, appropriate supervision and welfare procedures support our commitment to safe training.

Respectful coaching

We aim to develop confidence without intimidation, humiliation or aggressive coaching behaviour.

Speaking up

Members and parents should feel able to raise concerns and know where to seek help.
