Insurance for both student and instructor is a mandatory requirement, it is not optional as it is there for protection of both student and instructor. Student insurance should be taken out after the first 2 weeks of training. All insurance should be the one specified from the National Governing Body.
Students should follow this link, complete the form then make payment for annual membership which includes insurance via the link shown on that page.
If a student is injured they have the ability to make a claim for some financial assistance within the terms of the cover.
Instructors should also take out the Public Indemnity insurance cover specified by the National Governing Body. This will assist the instructor should they find themselves having claims made against them which might ultimately end up in court.
